1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using WorkTalk Log ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

WorkTalk Log is a private productivity tool that helps you:

• Create work communication records (meetings, chats, feedback, tasks)
• Track task changes and follow-up confirmation items
• Add optional voice notes and photo attachments
• Review weekly communication summaries
• Export review summaries using Points

The App stores your content locally on your device. It is not a legal service, mental health diagnostic tool, workplace dispute platform, social network, or public posting service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws in your workplace and region.

4. Account

Quick Login

The App provides Quick Login, which generates local credentials stored on your device. No server-side registration is required.

Log Out

Logging out ends your current session but retains stored credentials so you can log in again.

Delete Account

Deleting your account permanently removes local credentials, Points balance, records, attachments, voice notes, and usage history from your device. This action cannot be undone.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Provide or seek legal advice, workplace dispute resolution, or whistleblowing services
• Conduct hidden, background, or call recording
• Harass, defame, or violate others' rights
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or circumvent App security or Apple IAP

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you create.

6. Points and In-App Purchases

WorkTalk Log uses a consumable virtual currency called Points, sold through Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit).

Points may be redeemed for:

• Extra work communication records (10 Points)
• Follow-up reminders (15 Points)
• Review exports (20 Points)

Free tier includes limited records, attachments, voice notes, reminders, and one free export as described in the App.

• All purchases are processed by Apple; prices may vary by region.
• Points have no cash value and are non-transferable.
• Consumable purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by law or Apple's policies.
• We may adjust free-tier limits or Point costs with App updates.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by the developer. You retain ownership of content you create. You grant no license to us because content stays on your device.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ACCURACY OF YOUR NOTES, OUTCOMES OF WORKPLACE COMMUNICATIONS, OR AVAILABILITY WITHOUT INTERRUPTION.

WorkTalk Log does not provide legal advice, mental health diagnosis, HR representation, or employment law guidance. Mood tags are for personal context only, not clinical assessment.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by logging out or deleting the App. We may suspend or discontinue the App where permitted by law. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, limitations, governing law) will survive termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws apply in your country of residence.
